March 04 – EVERDAWN – CLEOPATRA (Sensory Records / Hard Life Promotion) – Review by Stefan

Originating from New Jersey and formed back in 2004, Everdawn resurrected from the demise of Midnight Eternal, a five-piece female-fronted Symphonic Metal act. Their singer Raine Hilai caused internal problems when the other band members were no longer satisfied with her vocal performance. This disagreement degenerated into a complete dispute, there was even talk of a lawsuit came up but eventually the band made the resolute decision to simply change their name. FYI: Midnight Eternal released an EP in 2005 followed by a self-titled full length effort entitled launched in 2016, they toured with Queensrÿche and Therion. The name was changed to Everdawn, the replacement for the former Israeli singer was quickly found in Alina Gevrilenko (Haven Dream, Snowmaiden, Случайные Связи), she’s Russian born but lives in Canada. World-renowned bassist Mike Lepond (Symphony X), in addition to his collaborations with numerous other bands, is now contributing his exuberant brilliant skills to Everdawn. READ MORE…
